| Description: | Beyond the Bay is a new workshop designed to expose people to birds and coastal habitats of Louisiana through exploration of one of Louisiana’s barrier islands. Barrier islands provide important breeding grounds for many species of colonial nesting and shorebirds. The islands also play a pivotal role as a staging and refueling area for migratory birds. This is an exciting opportunity to see birds in their natural coastal habitats! |
