Public outreach is an important aspect of the Louisiana program. The task force has an outreach coordinator, which works with many local political, environmental, and school groups. In addition, several publications, watermarks, brochures and posters are produced. A CD-ROM addressing Louisiana's wetland losses, corrective actions, and CWPPRA will be available in a few months.

Key to the public outreach program is the CWPPRA internet home page which can be found at lacoast.gov . The site is maintained by the DOI, USGS's National Wetlands Research Center.
