U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Louisiana Coastal Protection and
Restoration (LACPR) Stakeholder Meetings
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in partnership with the state of Louisiana
are engaging stakeholders in a fourth round of stakeholder public meetings
for the LACPR effort. The Corps is working closely with the Louisiana
Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority.
At the next round of meetings the Corps will gather and update information
on stakeholder priorities as they relate to the various study objectives and
performance metrics. During these meetings we will share with the public
updated information on the analysis of alternative plans; provide an
opportunity to offer your views on risk reduction priorities; demonstrate
how those priorities can influence how plans are ranked; and explain the
path ahead for LACPR.
We want stakeholders to express what they and their organization believe are
the critical risk reduction plan outputs and what tradeoffs between outputs
are appropriate in identifying a comprehensive plan.
