Volunteers Needed for Restoration Project in Southwest LA!
Beach Restoration
Register Now
The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana (CRCL) invites you to participate in a wetland restoration project that will create sand dunes along the Cameron Shoreline in Southwest Louisiana. This area provides essential protection for Louisiana's inland communities and wetlands, and it was severely impacted by recent hurricanes. Volunteers will install 9,000 feet of sand fencing during this 3 day event. This project will assist in stabilizing and capturing sand in the hopes of building dunes. In addition, the project will also create wildlife habitat and increase species diversity.
