From H-2-O: a teacher training workshop for teachers
Are you a middle school teacher, high school teacher, or informal educator interested in getting your students to do hands-on environmental monitoring? Getting the training you need is as simple as attending this year's From H-2-O teacher training workshop. During the workshop you will be given comprehensive content information about the 5 water quality parameters measured in the Bayouside Classroom program (www.lumcon.edu/bayousideclassroom), as well as, hands-on instruction on sample and data collection techniques. This teacher professional development opportunity takes advantage of all LUMCON's resources to explore many different watershed and water quality related topics. Water quality monitoring is a great way to introduce practice-based science education and STEM into your science program.
