CWPPRA Technical Committee Priority Project List (PPL) 24 Candidate Voting Results

The CWPPRA Technical Committee met yesterday in New Orleans, LA and selected ten Priority Project List (PPL) 24 projects to recommend to the Task Force to be evaluated for Phase 0 analysis, which will be considered later for final selection of projects that will be approved for Phase I (Planning and Engineering and Design). Based on the evaluation conducted by the CWPPRA Environmental and Engineering Work Groups, the Technical Committee recommended only the Innovative Bedload Sediment Collector demonstration project to move forward. The Task Force may approve these recommended projects when they meet on May 22, 2014 at the Estuarine Fisheries and Habitat Center, 646 Cajundome Blvd., Lafayette, LA.
