2014 Smart Growth Summit

November 10-12, 2014
Manship Theatre at the Shaw Center for the Arts
Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Now in its 9th year, the Summit has become one of the premier planning conferences in the Southeast - featuring sessions on economic development, parks and greenways, creative redevelopment, healthy communities, transportation projects, innovative financing, coastal resiliency and water management, the legal and economic impacts of annexation and incorporation, and more!

This year will be better than ever as we host two extraordinary keynote speakers:

AC Wharton, Jr., the current Mayor of Memphis, Tennessee

Harriet Tregoning, the former Washington DC planning director and current Director of Economic Resilience for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development

The Summit will offer continuing education credits for attorneys as well as self-reporting credits for planners, architects, landscape architects, engineers, and LEED professionals, in case you or anyone you know could benefit from that.

There is plenty of information available on the schedule, speakers, accommodations, and sponsorship opportunities on the website at http://summit.cpex.org.

The Summit is free for students and professors, and a limited number of scholarships are also available.

Online registration is now open, so please sign up and spread the word!
