  4. 4.Report: Selection of Ten Candidate Projects and Three Demonstration Project to Evaluate for PPL 26 (Kevin Roy, FWS) 10:05 a.m. to 10:25 a.m. At the April 5, 2016 meeting, the Technical Committee selected ten projects as PPL 26 candidates for Phase 0 analysis as listed below. The Technical Committee also selected three demonstration projects to move forward.

  7. Decision: FY16 Planning Budget Revision (Darryl Clark, FWS) 10:40 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. The current CWPPRA Planning budget does not specifically state that planning funds can be used for training purposes, yet CWPPRA-related training is a needed part of program management. The Task Force will vote to add a “Training-Conference-Workshops” task to the FY 2016 CWPPRA Planning budget and future budgets. This task could be listed under the "Project and Program Management Tasks”. The new task would be listed as, “PM 25150 Program Management - Training, Conferences, and Workshops, in Support of CWPPRA Program Management.”

  8. Decision: FY17 Planning Budget Approval, including the PPL 27 Process, and Presentation of FY17 Outreach Budget (Process, Size, Funding, etc.) (Brad Inman, USACE) 10:50 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The P&E Subcommittee will present their recommended FY17 Planning Program Budget development, including the PPL 27 Process.

    1. The Task Force will consider the Technical Committee’s recommendation to approve that the PPL 27 Process include selecting four nominees in the Barataria and Terrebonne Basins; three projects in the Breton Sound and Pontchartrain Basins; two nominees in the Mermentau, Calcasieu/Sabine, and Tech/Vermilion Basins; and one nominee will be selected in the Atchafalaya Basin. The Task Force will be also be voting on added language to the PPL Process concerning project area overlap at RPT meetings.
    2. The Task Force will vote on a recommendation to the Task Force to approve the FY17 Outreach Committee Budget, in the amount of $446,113.
    3. The Task Force will vote on a recommendation to the Task Force to approve the FY17 Planning Budget (includes Outreach Committee Budget), in the amount of $5,002,132. If approved, the line item proposed in agenda item 6 will be included in the FY17 Planning Budget.

  9. Decision: Request Final Approval to Transfer the PPL 20 – Kelso Bayou Marsh Creation Project (CS-53) to the Chenier Plain Coastal Restoration and Protection Authority (Chenier Plain Authority) (Britt Paul, NRCS) 11:00 a.m. to 11:05 a.m. The Chenier Plain Authority has requested transfer of the Kelso Bayou Marsh Creation Project from CWPPRA to the Chenier Plain Authority. By letter dated 16 November 2015 from the Chenier Plain Authority to the Task Force, the Chenier Plain Authority formally requested that the project be transferred to them in lieu of deauthorization. The Task Force will vote to approve transfer of Kelso Bayou Marsh Creation Project (CS-53) to the Chenier Plain Coastal Restoration and Protection Authority.

  10. Report: Public Outreach Committee Report (Nikki Cavalier, USGS) 11:05 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Ms. Nikki Cavalier will present the Public Outreach Committee report.

  11. Report: Coastwide Reference Monitoring System (CRMS) Report (Leigh Anne Sharp, CPRA) 11:15 a.m. to 11:25 a.m. Ms. Leigh Anne Sharp will provide a report on CRMS.
