PROJECT LOCATION:

The project is located adjacent to Highway LA 1 and south of the Leeville Bridge.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Approximately 150 acres of marsh platform will be created with a sediment dredged from nearby water bottoms.

PROJECT STATUS: (Project Status Last Updated: 14-Mar-2005 )

The project was deauthorized at the February 17, 2005 Task Force meeting.

FUND STATUS:

The current project estimate is $250,257 , which includes $245,644 for construction first costs, and $4,614 and $0 for 20 years of monitoring and operations and maintenance, respectively.
