Perry Ridge West Bank Stabilization

PROJECT LOCATION:

This project is located along the northern bank of the GIWW between Perry Ridge and the Sabine River in Calcasieu Parish.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The project consists of installing rock along the bank to prevent further erosion.

PROJECT STATUS: (Project Status Last Updated: 06-Dec-2002 )

The Perry Ridge project approved on Priority List 4 was the first phase of this project. This is the second and final phase of the project. Task Force approved Phase 2 construction funding January 10, 2001. The rock bank protection is installed. The contract for the terraces and vegetation has been completed.

FUND STATUS:

The current project estimate is $2,204,688 , which includes $1,580,302 for construction first costs, and $94,146 and $530,240 for 20 years of monitoring and operations and maintenance, respectively.
