PROJECT STATUS: (Project Status Last Updated: 01-Aug-2022 )

Project was selected as the preferred alternative by the Louisiana Oil Spill Coordinator's Office (Losco) for construction as part of the Damage Assessment and Restoration Plan and Environmental Assessment for the 2006 Calcasieu River Oil Spill (January 2022). The USACE construction bid package is being finalized with solicitation anticipated August 2022. As soon as USACE issues notice to proceed to their construction contractor (anticipated September 2022), EPA will officially transfer this project.

FUND STATUS:

The current project estimate is $2,295,824 , which includes $2,295,824 for construction first costs, and $0 and $0 for 20 years of monitoring and operations and maintenance, respectively.
