PROJECT LOCATION:
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of the project is to achieve remediation of the causes of wetland loss in the area and to improve habitat for wildlife and fisheries. This will be accomplished by increasing the flow of fresh water into the marsh and managing the outfall. Project features include diverting part of the W-14 canal, and installing larger culverts under Hwy 90.

O&M plan executed January 29, 2003.
FUND STATUS:
The current project estimate is $2,201,674 , which includes $1,060,816 for construction first costs, and $815,647 and $325,211 for 20 years of monitoring and operations and maintenance, respectively.
