Terrebonne Basin, Lafourche Parish, West of Golden Meadow and East of Catfish Lake

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

306 acres of marsh creation and nourishment; 12,479 linear feet of shoreline protection

As part of an effort to reduce the backlog of projects in Phase 1 Engineering and Design, this project was determined to be inconsistent with the 2023 State Coastal Master Plan. The project is not eligible for state cost share and has been deauthorized.

FUND STATUS:

The current project estimate is $3,376,249 , which includes $3,376,249 for construction first costs, and $0 and $0 for 20 years of monitoring and operations and maintenance, respectively.
