PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Sand fences will be installed and vegetation suited to the salinity and habitat type of Timbalier Island will be planted in several areas on the Island to trap sand and buffer wind and wave energy.

FUND STATUS:
The current project estimate is $300,492 , which includes $196,251 for construction first costs, and $91,193 and $13,048 for 20 years of monitoring and operations and maintenance, respectively.
