Thin Mat Floating Marsh Enhancement Demo COMPLETE
PROJECT LOCATION:
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project will look at techniques to create and enhance thin floating mats of marsh, as well as the effects of water movement and sediments on these marshes. The objective is to induce development of thick, continually floating mats from a thin-mat flotant, and to determine the effects of water movement on the floats in areas with and without available sediments.

The current project estimate is $538,101 , which includes $67,748 for construction first costs, and $470,353 and $0 for 20 years of monitoring and operations and maintenance, respectively.
