GIWW Bank Restoration of Critical Areas in Terrebonne

PROJECT LOCATION:

This project is located along the GIWW in western Terrebonne Parish.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This project will restore critical lengths of deteriorated channel banks, and stabilize/armor selected critical lengths of deteriorated channel banks with hard shoreline stabilization materials.

PROJECT STATUS: (Project Status Last Updated: 11-Jul-2012 )

CPRA assigned land rights to NRCS in April 2012. Project re-surveyed to verify design was still current. Project is scheduled for construction in December 2012.

FUND STATUS:

The current project estimate is $10,916,662 , which includes $9,332,533 for construction first costs, and $14,954 and $1,569,175 for 20 years of monitoring and operations and maintenance, respectively.
