Raccoon Island Shoreline Protection/Marsh Creation

PROJECT LOCATION:

This project is located on Raccoon Island in Terrebonne Parish

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Eight segmented breakwaters will be installed along the gulf side of the island and dredged sediment will be used to create marsh on the land side of the island.
