  2. Report: Status of CWPPRA Program Funds and Projects (Sarah Bradley, USACE) 9:45 a.m. to 9:55 a.m. Ms. Sarah Bradley will provide an overview of the status of CWPPRA accounts and available funding in the Planning and Construction Programs.

  3. Report: Electronic Votes and Approvals (Brad Inman, USACE) 9:55 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Mr. Brad Inman will report out on recent requests approved via electronic vote.

  4. Report: Construction Update (Brad Inman, USACE) 10:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. The CWPPRA agencies will provide a report on projects that are currently under construction and projects that have recently completed construction.

  5. Report/Decision: 2018 Report to Congress Outline (Brad Crawford, EPA) 10:15 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. EPA will present the request to approve the recommended outline and format for the 2018 Report to Congress.

  6. Report: Selection of Ten Candidate Projects to Evaluate for PPL 28 (Kevin Roy, FWS) 10:20 a.m. to 10:35 a.m. At the April 12, 2018 meeting, the Technical Committee selected ten projects as PPL 28 candidates for Phase 0 analysis as listed below. The Technical Committee also voted that only the Shoreflex II demo project move forward


  7. Report/Decision: Upcoming 20-Year Life Projects (Brad Inman, USACE) 10:35 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The project sponsors will present recommended paths forward for projects nearing the end of their 20 year lives. The Task Force will vote on the Technical Committee’s recommendation on the path forward for the following projects.


  8. Decision: FY19 Planning Budget Approval, including the PPL 29 Process, and Presentation of FY19 Outreach Budget (Process, Funding, etc.) (Brad Inman, USACE) 10:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The P&E Subcommittee will present their recommended FY19 Planning Program Budget development, including the PPL 29 Process.

    1. The Task Force will consider the Technical Committee’s recommendation to approve that the PPL 29 Process to include up to four nominees in the Barataria and Terrebonne Basins; three projects in the Breton Sound and Pontchartrain Basins; two nominees in the Mermentau, Calcasieu/Sabine, and Tech/Vermilion Basins; and one nominee in the Atchafalaya Basin.
    2. The Task Force will vote on a recommendation to approve the FY19 Outreach Committee Budget, in the amount of $452,113.
    3. The Task Force will vote on a recommendation to approve the FY19 Planning Budget (includes Outreach Committee Budget), in the amount of $5,008,132.

  9. Report: Public Outreach Committee Report (Mirka Zapletal, USGS) 11:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Ms. Mirka Zapletal will present the Public Outreach Committee report.

  10. Report: Coastwide Reference Monitoring System (CRMS) Report (Leigh Anne Sharp, CPRA) 11:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Ms. Leigh Anne Sharp will provide a report on CRMS.

  11. Additional Agenda Items (Col. Clancy, USACE) 11:30 a.m. to 11:35 a.m.

  12. Request for Public Comments (Col. Clancy, USACE) 11:35 a.m. to 11:40 a.m.

  13. Announcement: Date of Upcoming CWPPRA Program Meeting (Brad Inman, USACE) 11:40 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. The Technical Committee meeting will be held September 13, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (Louisiana Room), 2000 Quail Drive, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

  14. Announcement: Scheduled Dates of Future Program Meetings (Brad Inman, USACE) 11:45 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.
