CWPPRA Technical Committee Priority Project List 29 and Phase 2 Project Selection



The CWPPRA Technical Committee met Thursday, 5 December, in New Orleans, LA and selected four Project Priority List (PPL) 29 candidate projects to recommend to the Task Force for Phase I Engineering and Design. The following projects were selected: North Delacroix Marsh Creation and Terracing, Phoenix Marsh Creation - East Increment, East Catfish Lake Marsh Creation and Shoreline Protection, Bay Raccourci Marsh Creation and Ridge Restoration. The Technical Committee also selected two projects to recommend to the Task Force for Phase II authorization and Increment 1 funding: Labranche East Marsh Creation (PO-75) and West Fourchon Marsh Creation and Nourishment (TE-134). The Task Force may approve these recommended projects for Phase I and Phase II funding when they meet on January 29, 2020 at the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, 2000 Quail Drive, Baton Rouge, LA.
