The next State of the Coast conference will be held on May 31-June 2, 2023.

Proposals for SOC2023 will be accepted through January 31, 2023. Submissions may be for sessions, in panel or standard format, posters or oral presentations that will be organized into sessions. Topics and subtopics are posted on the conference website.

You can register for the conference here. The early bird registration deadline is also January 31, 2023. The price will go up after early bird registration closes, but people who have been accepted to present will have access to the early bird rates until April 10, 2023.

Scholarships are available for students who submit proposals. In addition to student awards and scholarships, there will be student volunteer opportunities and discounted student rates. More information for students can be found here.

Community scholarships will also be available for SOC2023. Space is limited, with prioritization for Louisiana residents who want to learn more about the issues, engage in discussions and grow in their ability to be more effective coastal stewards and leaders. Applications are due March 30, 2023.
