The CWPPRA Task Force met in New Orleans on January 22, 2026, to select projects for CWPPRA's 35th Priority Project List and Phase II Construction. The Task Force approved the Technical Committee's recommendation to fund the Bayou L'Ours Ridge Restoration and Marsh Creation, Bayou Thunder Marsh Creation, and Gulf Shoreline Protection West projects for Phase I Engineering and Design. Additionally, the Task Force approved the Technical Committee's recommendation for Phase I funding for the Shore Shells Concrete Dome Structure Demonstration Project, which is the first demo project selected for Engineering and Design funding since 2016.
The Task Force also approved Northwest Little Lake Marsh Creation (BA-268) and Sabine Marsh Creation Cycles 6 & 7 (CS-81) for Phase II Construction.
