January 2018 CWPPRA Task Force Electronic Vote

Due to the government shutdown that spanned from 20 January to 22 January 2018, the January Task Force meeting was canceled. By Task Force decision, it was resolved that an electronic vote would take place in lieu of the January Task Force meeting and on 2 January 2018, Colonel Michael Clancy formally requested an electronic vote on the following motions:
  1. The CWPPRA Task Force approves and adopts the minutes from the October 12, 2017 Task Force meeting.

  2. The CWPPRA Task Force approves the Technical Committee’s recommendation to approve final transfer of the Shell Beach South Marsh Creation Project (PO-168).

  3. The CWPPRA Task Force approves the Technical Committee’s recommendation to approve closeout of the Terrebonne Bay Demonstration Project (TE-45) and remove all features but the Reach A and B gabions for an approximate cost of $498,730.

  4. The CWPPRA Task Force approves a monitoring budget increase for the Highway 384 Hydrologic Restoration Project (CS-21) in the amount of $20,000.

  5. The CWPPRA Task Force approves the Technical Committee's recommendation of the following four projects for Phase I funding with a combined Phase I cost of $14,732,575:

The Task Force members reviewed each motion as stated above, and on 9 February 2018, all motions were approved and passed by the Task Force.
